Hey Indo! – In accordance with the Circular (SE) of the Covid-19 Handling Task Force Number 20 of 2021 concerning International Travel Health Protocols during the Covid-19 Pandemic. The following are the latest requirements for foreign tourists to enter Indonesia.
The categories of foreigners who are allowed to come to Indonesia are as stated in the Regulation of the Minister of Law and Human Rights (Permenkumham) Number 34 of 2021 concerning the Granting of Immigration Visas and Stay Permits in the Period of Handling the Spread of Covid-19 and National Economic Recovery. In accordance with the bilateral Travel Corridor Arrangement (TCA) travel scheme, and/or Obtaining special consideration/permission in writing from the Ministry/Agency.
Show a card or certificate (physical or digital) of the complete dose of Covid-19 vaccine. Foreign tourists who have not been vaccinated abroad will be vaccinated at a quarantine place upon arrival in Indonesia, after a second PCR test with a negative result.
Shows a negative PCR test result in the country of origin whose sample is taken a maximum of 3×24 hours before departure, and is attached at the time of the health check or e-HAC International Indonesia. Use the CareProtect application.
Upon arrival in Indonesia:
Doing PCR retest, costs are borne independently. Foreigners including foreign diplomats, apart from the head of the foreign representative and the family of the head of the foreign representative, undergo a 3×24 hour quarantine in quarantine accommodation at their own expense.
Foreigners with the aim of traveling enter through airports in Bali and the Riau Islands. In addition to the requirements related to the Covid-19 vaccine card and the PCR test as mentioned above, foreigners are required to attach a Short Visit Visa or other entry permit in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, namely attaching proof of ownership of health insurance with a minimum coverage value of 100,000 US dollars, equivalent to around IDR 1.4 billion, which includes financing for handling Covid-19. Another requirement is to attach proof of booking confirmation and payment for accommodation from the accommodation provider while staying in Indonesia.
